Ramon Williams

As a collegiate player at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), Ramon, along with his twin brother Damon helped form the most prolific twin brother-scoring duo in NCAA Division 1 history, a record that stood for 19 years. He finished his career as the Keydets third (3) all-time leading scorer; scoring 1,630 points. He earned All-Southern Conference honors, Honorable Mention All-America and other awards and honors as players of the week and all-tournament teams. Both brothers were inducted into the VMI Sports Hall of Fame in 2001.

​The twins contributions and influence on young people was recognized by the late mayor Noel C. Taylor and the City of Roanoke as positive role models in the Roanoke Community; they were presented with the coveted “Key to the City.”

Ramon has over 21 years of coaching at the high school and Division 1 levels combined. He's coached and trained players who have gone on to have great collegiate and professional careers. Here are just a few of the players he has helped mentor and develop:

They earned All-Southern Conference honors, Honorable Mention All-America and other awards and honors as players of the week and all-tournament teams. Both brothers were inducted into the VMI Sports Hall of Fame in 2001.
